RemarksNumber of reports came in from a chat on http://lunarmeteoritehunters.blogspot.com which appeared to be the same object. People were writing in from VA, MA, and MD.I suspect that it was falling space junk (due to the sparks) but would be interested in hearing back about what it was.

Towards the end of the arc I saw some sparks that were fragmentation (sparks, as if you were watching someone saw through metal--yellow and falling to the sides). It then disappeared as if it burned out so I turned back to the house and a moment later the light \\
