This report has been linked to the following event: Event 929-2010
Observer
NameBo
Experience Level1/5
RemarksI am not certain about the apparent magnitude of the object, but I must note that I was facing nearly the opposite direction when the light of the object prompted me to turn completely around to look up at it for it was bright enough to noticeably light up the sky in that direction (the sky was moonless, or at least sufficiently obscured by the clouds and not to the west).

RemarksI\\\\\\\'m actually not sure if I heard any actual sound or if I\\\\\\\'m just confabulating, but I remember a subtle clacking sound, maybe like a burning camp fire. I was also shoveling snow and there were other sounds around so it\\\\\\\'s probably unreliable.
