RemarksI was looking to the left before turning my car to the right-- I was looking directly below the trail when it appeared and began moving downwards. The trail appeared nearly vertical, tilted only very slightly, so I assume it was traveling almost directly away. The trail disappeared, then a split second later, only a few degrees below the lowest point the trail had occupied, there was a quick and bright blue flash. I'm not sure how accurate my use of this website's brightness slider is; it seemed very bright at the time, but it's hard to think about how it would have appeared in the daytime compared to the moon in the daytime. It could have been brighter then I reported with the slider.
