Remarks | Passed through view from window so only abbreviated view. After it passed view of window, a second/second and half later there was bright flash in eastern sky lighting up back to my point of view. As the object left view, its intensity was increasing causing the sky to brighten prior to the flash. This is the 3rd time I have seen a meteor-like object, two fireballs and one speck. The other fireball was the one that exploded between Phoenix and Tucson back in later 1970s. The speck was encountered when delivering papers in the morning (late 1970s) and was a streak straight down my mostly upward look into the northern sky. A moment later, I heard a plink on top of the van which was less than 10 feet away. |
