RemarksI'm a geophysicist with little observation experience on these matters, I just happened to be driving at the time. I had the radio on at the time and cannot be certain of any sound effects outside the car. I am very certain about the time though. I checked it right away on the car clock and my phone. The fireball brightened the whole sly although there was already a small amount of daylight. I'm not very certain of the duration. It could have been less than a second, anywhere between 0 and two seconds. It happened very fast. I've never seen anything like it.
