RemarksOur home sits in a small depression and at first I thought it was very very bright headlights from a vehicle coming down our road. I heard now sounds of vehicles and then thought it might be a burglar and I watched out the window and could see only the crescent moon just on the horizon. Next came the somewhat loud boom and that is what made me then think it was a meteor. My guess is that it probably did not strike the earth but disintegrated in the atmosphere.
