RemarksIt was quite bright, almost as bright as the sun, but not too bright to look at. It had something of a trail behind it, similar to a comet. The ball itself was a yellow color, while the trail was fainter and more white. It was there for about 1 or 2 seconds before it vanished. Almost wondered if it was a firework, but I heard no noise and I think it was a bit bright even for that (plus I don't think fireworks have a trail behind them quite like this did). This looked like a huge shooting star, and was going from east to west. All I did was glance up at the sky in the direction of the local trailer park and saw that. Had I not looked in that one second, I would never have known. I'm not 100% certain of the exact time I saw it, generally it would be within the 8:50-9 PM range. I've seen comets before, and this was very similar, but more yellow and not quite as high up on the horizon.
