This report has been linked to the following event: Event 787-2016
Observer
NameSusan M
Experience Level2/5
RemarksI was driving my car west on I-10 and saw this out my driver's side window through the trees (it was that low by the time I saw it) so it's hard to say with any accuracy the location and time. I had talked myself out of it being a fireball (I've never seen one before) until I got an e-mail from our local Baton Rouge observatory saying that there were other reported sightings of a fireball at about that time Saturday evening.
