It was brighter than normal meteors I have seen in the night. I occasionally look for meteors during showers. Being in town we rarely see them. This was the first for my daughter who was with me. She said it was white. I thought it was yellow but I am color blind.

It flashed and then seemed to break up a little. I seem to think it disappeared and then came back but I am not sure, now.

When it flashed it broke up and looked like a part of it fell down towards the ground.
