RemarksThis fireball streaked completely horizontally across the ocean but seemed extremely low in the sky, barely higher than the palm tree line. Sun was already up but was still so bright that it made me look (I was not looking in its direction but the light caught my eye). Close to a base so I thought it was a missile and not ruling that out but it disappeared from sight in the same way I have seen shooting stars. The blue color had blue and purple but also a bit of orange. Amazing sight to behold, whatever it was.
