RemarksMY SON AND HIS WIFE AND I SHARE THE ENJOYMENT OF SKY-WATCHING AND TAKE GREAT PLEASURE WHEN SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY IS OBSERVED. WE LOVE TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCES. I WORKED LATE THE NIGHT OF JANUARY 25TH (EST) AND DRIVING HOME WITNESSED WHAT I REPORTED HERE - BUT I JUST WASN'T REALLY SURE I HAD OBSERVED A CELESTIAL EVENT. I MADE A MENTAL NOTE OF THE TIME AND IT WASN'T UNTIL OVER A WEEK THAT I CASUALLY MENTIONED TO MY SON WHAT I HAD SEEN BUT I JUST WASN'T SURE. HE DID AN INTERNET SEARCH AND CAME UP WITH THIS WEBSITE AND I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED THAT THERE WERE CONCURRENT REPORTS WITH EXACT TIMING. I AM BEYOND THRILLED TO MAKE THIS REPORT AND AS MENTIONED IN THE OPENING INFORMATION WILL LIKELY NEVER WITNESS A SIMILAR EVENT - BUT ONCE IS ENOUGH. TO CLARIFY, THE DIRECTION I WAS LOOKING WAS TOWARDS A SMALL HILL - THAT IS WHY I DID NOT SEE THE OBJECT ALL THE WAY TO THE "HORIZON." ALSO, AS FAR AS BRIGHTNESS, THE OBJECT WAS PURE WHITE SIMILAR TO A BRIGHT, WHITE FLARE HAVING BEEN SHOT OFF - FAR BRIGHTER THAN ANY STAR/PLANET BUT I FIND IT HARD TO COMPARE THE BRIGHTNESS TO A QUARTER OR HALF MOON OR WHATEVER. I GAVE YOU MY BEST GUESTIMATE. THANK YOU FOR ACCEPTING THIS REPORT - RICK FIGARI
