RemarksI'm in my 60s, and I have watched the night sky for years because of its beauty. As I have seen many meteors and and a spectacular meteor shower at 2 A.M. in the mountains outside of Salt lake City in the early winter of 1978, I am not new to this kind of thing. But I have ever seen such a bright ball of fire just over the trees in my back yard that night. It looked to be the size of a quarter, if not larger, if I held it one out in front of me. I really expected it to hit the earth with a tremendous explosive - of which it did not happen in my area. Truly, I consider this event to be one of the most momentous days of my life.
