RemarksI've seen shooting stars before and I enjoy reading about the moon, the stars and the sky. I'm a little knowledgeable about space but not more than your average person. With this being said, I can firmly and accurately state that I am certain of what I saw without a shred of doubt. I feel and believe that it was an asteroid or meteor. I think more asteroid as the line seemed quite long and thick. I was mesmerized for those few seconds. It was absolutely bright and beautiful

RemarksIt was the most amazing thing I've seen. It looked like one of those fighting objects from Star Wars when it lights up and then closes. It came and went like a lighting bolt, lasting very few seconds. A little longer than a shooting star. Yet it was incredibly bright, with fire red/orange some kind of neon white with. Hint of blue. It shot into the sky. I was driving north and I looked over to my left as I wanted to change lanes and I saw it! It felt and looked so close to the ground but then it suddenly disappeared leaving a millisecond of trail behind it. And then it was as if the sky returned to its normal state.
