Observer
NameTom C
Experience Level1/5
RemarksIt was particularly wide. Much wider than any star in the sky, but its path was short and fast.It was directly in my line of site (not peripheral), there were no clouds, and we're rural enough that there is minimal light pollution to spoil stargazing.I was scanning the northern horizon hoping to see some Northern Lights, but I saw my first meteor instead (51+ years old).
