RemarksOne of the most amazing things I've ever seen... slow-moving, (seemingly) low-altitude, on such a perfect, crystal-clear night. I thought someone had set off a firework when I first saw it, but then I realized it wasn't moving up, it was moving across the sky. We immediately pulled over and I was able to watch it cross directly overhead through the moon roof of our car.

Remarksa glowing trail of particles, similar to the burning trail of a bottle rocket, it definitely grew as more material peeled off of the head of the main object
