This report has been linked to the following event: Event 451-2015
Observer
NameAckerman K
Experience Level2/5
RemarksIt was not far above the horizon, and moving nearly parallel to the horizon. At first I thought it was someone's headlights shining from atop a nearby mountain, or maybe fighter jets (all lit up?!) flying in formation. (The air force has had jets in the air all day and now into the night, here). It was big; a long contrail of light with many pinpoints of light, distributed front to back. It moved slowly.

RemarksThere was a long train of fireballs; no less than half a dozen points of light. The train of light seemed to dissipate at the same rate as the points of light-- it didn't linger.
