RemarksIt was really fast and big. Maybe a quarter or fifth if the size of the moon at that point in time. There was a main part with a tail that was about twice the size. I've seen shooting stars before and they have always been star colored and fast moving. This was almost an iridescent red with blue and green hints before it disappeared. It's colors reminded me of when you throw the sticks into a fire that changes the fires color. I was facing north/north east stopped in a business parking lot and it moved parallel to the horizon, but so fast that when I tried to point it out to my sister it had already disappeared. It didnt shoot out of sight either. I saw it. It moved a distance, and it was gone.I didn't hear any sound, but I had the radio on and was talking to my sister. The time may be 20 min or so off. I called my husband at 8:42 pm (20:42) to tell him about it but I think I called him after I was back at my parents house which is about a 20 min drive.
