This fireball was so low flying, 2000ft above ground…flew perfectly horizontal. Brightness never changed. So incredibly bizarre

There was a huge trail of smoke following the fireball but as soon as the fireball left my field of view the trail disappeared and it was a perfectly clear night with no wind or clouds and moon was almost full…baffles me that smoke dissipated that quickly…there was nothing breaking off the back of fireball…just a huge trail of smoke…unlike a comet or meteor…but it had to be a meteor…this thing was LOW FLYING…maybe 2000ft above ground…flew perfectly horizontal.
