Remarks | Seen many shooting stars but never anything like this. Room lit up orange for a couple of seconds, husband was asleep but registered the room light up. The fireball was just to the right of the half moon looking south at 3am on the morning of 13th February 2023 over the sea at Lancing South Coast West Sussex. First saw it as it appeared from the top of my window travelling past the moon towards the sea. It was just to the right of the moon, orange and lit the sky and room up and disappeared when it was south of the moon. |
