I am 50 years old and have never seen anything like this before. I may not have seen the whole event as I looked up from the ground and saw it.The sky was clear of any cloud so the view was very clear from my house as it was to the North out over the sea.

A smoke train which I could see from the light of the meteor but lost sight of it it when it went dark. I might have missed the start of it as I looked up from the ground and saw it.
