Remarks | I'm 78 years old and a skywatcher all my life, having grown up in rural Nebraska. I've seen hundreds of meteors and four fireballs. August northern Wisconsin 1978, western Kenya near Lake Victoria 1989, Naxos in Greece in August of 1994, and tonight at about 7:11 over Lake Michigan from my window December 18, 2022. Many others would have seen it. (Dash cams going east from I-88 or the Eisenhower Expressway.) |
