RemarksI’ve been interested in meteors, stars, planets, etc. and weather/meteorology for several years. I took an astronomy class when I attended college. I am also a trained observer with the local office of the National Weather Service. What really struck me is that I have never seen one of these in daylight hours before. It was amazing as it was 11:46 AM in Chandler, Arizona, which is a suburb to the east of the Phoenix metropolitan area. At the exact moment I caught it in my vision, I was transitioning from the westbound 202 Santan Freeway and heading northbound on the 101 Freeway in Chandler, Arizona.

RemarksIt made a partial arc and then a very bright conclusion. I saw a tale to the arc but then the bright lights at the end to my left in the direction it was traveling. It appeared to be traveling from east to west but not sure if it was southeast to northwest or just flat east to west as I was transitioning from a westbound freeway onto a northbound freeway at the time I caught it in my vision.
