Remarks | It was quite bright, illuminating everything in the vicinity like a bright lightning strike. The light from it gave everything a bluish hue. It flickered for a moment, almost with a strobe-light effect. it was very near the moon and Jupiter in the night sky. Unfortunately, the actual fireball was just out of our field of vision while we were driving, so we only saw the flash in the sky and the illuminating effect around us. |
