RemarksIt was remarkable! Due to its color strongly believe it was a meteorite and not a fireball. It appeared very very close... maybe as close as half a mile and no further than two miles. It was not a falling star... it was too close. The angle at which its direction was traveling was very strange and close to parrallel to the horizon....but almost as if it was curving when approaching. I was traveling northbound. It first appeared in my field of vision to my northeast direction and it was coming down and slightly across me.... in a north northwest direction. It was very very bright.
