This report has been linked to the following event: Event 3852-2022
Observer
NamePaul S
Experience Level1/5
RemarksIt is difficult to portray the angle of sighting on here. I was looking north and the direction of travel seemed slightly away from me North to North East, towards Evesham direction (very difficult to gauge the distance away and trajectory of travel as I have no past experience of such an incredible sight to witness)

RemarksA broken deep orange trail in the sky, like a firework rocket in reverse. It did not look like a single line, it looked as if there were 3/4 lines in close proximity with slightly different trail lengths/ time. At first I thought it was a shooting star before realising it was far too low, slow, bright and persistent.
Terminal flash
ObservationYes
RemarksTowards the end of the sighting the trail burst into multiple bright white flames, like magnesium in the sky. I would say there were three separate flashes that kept a similar trajectory but grew slightly from one another. The length of time I saw the flash was similar to the length of time I saw the trail- 3/4 seconds.
Fragmentation
ObservationYes
