Remarks-
Persistent train
ObservationYes
Duration10s
Length10°
RemarksAt first I thought it was a plane, then a shooting star, but I was able to see a LONG light train with bright and very visible bright orange chunks of debris separating off. I was the meteor for at least 10 seconds including losing it and finding it again over the roof (I got up and peered around, then lost it again and it was still going strong so it was probably much longer than 10 seconds). It was comet sized. I am facing SE and it traveled South to North, maybe SE to NW. I lost sight of it before it burned out.
Terminal flash
ObservationNo
Remarks-
Fragmentation
ObservationYes
RemarksThere were many fragments and they were bright orange. That's what alerted me it was a meteor and not a plane.
