As someone who’s been doing amateur astrophotography for two years now, this was one of the brightest meteors I’ve ever seen. It was bright for at least 5 seconds with a steady magnitude for as long as I could see it.

It was like a sparkler breaking into tiny fragments as it descended. No visible flash, but I could not see where it ended as it was behind a house.
