RemarksThe size of it prompted me to go searching for it. So bright it was as if a plane were on fire and fell out of the sky in a fraction over a second. never seen anything quite like it and I've been an astronomer for a few years. The brightness can't be understated as it was early morning and the sun had already begun brightening the sky. Venus is out but was behind me (Venus was in the E.SE) and the Moon is still nearly full (to the S. SW) and this was a luminosity between those two in brilliance. The size too was extraordinary. Went to find out if it hit the ground but found nothing. It didn't make a sound at all either which for its size and speed I would have thought maybe but it was silent.
