A truly amazing sight. I have seen many shooting stars and observed perseids meteor shower etc. This was totally different due to significant size and brightness.

Fragmentation was red sparks (similar to shooting star but sparks seemed to be projected from the sides). Light did “burn out” at end of sighting. Size of fireball was one third of visible moon (approx three quarters of full moon).
