Remarks | I was not looking for it and it caught my eye through the window, so was bright enough. I suspected it was a firework, but the trajectory and speed was wrong. I was lucky enough to see a fireball a few years back (widely reported) and this had similar characteristics of apparently straight trajectory and visible train. The colour speed and behaviour did not match a firework, neither the way it broke up and faded. I possibly only saw the end of the trail due to the west facing window I was sat at, but there was a very clear view once it entered my field of vision. |

Remarks | glow for a few degrees behind the fireball and a smoke trail for about 20 degrees after illuminated, I thought, but its own light, but also. there is a 3/4 moon. |
