Remarks | The object was very straight and uniform in width and brightness across the entire length. It looked like a pencil in the sky. It may not be a fireball, as it went nearly vertically up into the sky from the horizon, not down. It moved relatively slowly, much slower than a normal shooting star, and was visible for more than 60 seconds. It seemed to be extremely large based on the distance. I have a video and screenshots from the video. It didn't leave a trail - the entire object moved as one piece. There were some clouds where it disappeared, so I assumed it went up and the clouds blocked the view of it after that. I uploaded one photo but not sure if it attached to this report. |
