Remarks03:40 is BST. The track was quite short and angled only slightly down, so moving away from my viewpoint as I looked app. due south. I had woken in the early hours and opened the curtains and was looking at Antares with the naked eye when the fireball flashed app 10° west of my view point. I have seen meteors and the ISS and this was much bigger and brighter than anything I have previously seen.
