It was a very clear teardrop shape, about as wide as my pinky finger at arm's length. The center of the teardrop was bright orange-yellow and it glowed white along the edges and the tail.

It was a quite long teardrop shape and the tail sparkled. I believe the sparkles after the main fireball were fragments.
