Remarks | This was the most brilliant, long lasting, and beautiful meteor I’ve ever seen with my own two eyes… it left me with tears I still have in my eyes now. I’ve never seen a blue meteor fall, this was my first brilliant blue meteor I’ve witnessed, as well as my first time seeing an explosion and fragmentation come from one… and it was quite an explosion… wow… simply amazing, I am speechless. |

Remarks | I saw this bright, blue long lasting fireball explode!! It exploded into a bright piece that flew to the right of the fireball (my right) and a few or more fragments that were a little dimmer that flew to the opposite side and downward from the fireball. |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | A brilliant, big, blue streak appeared in the sky, then 1.5 seconds later exploded into several fragments… one bright piece flying to the right (my right as I drive north), few or several other fragments not quite as bright also flew to the opposite side and downward. |
