I’m not sure if it was a meteor or satellite burning through earth’s atmosphere but it was bright orange and really cool. I have observed meteor showers from this same location and it didn’t look like a meteor or “shooting star”. This was much lower in earths atmosphere and based on the commercial airplane lights observed as this burned through the night sky, which appeared to be below airspace that planes were flying in. The size of the burning light and trail behind it was much bigger in relation to the plane lights seen in the skyline at the exact same time. I would find it hard to believe that a pilot of o e of the planes within the vicinity of the object seen didn’t see it although it seemed much lower than the majority of the planes seen.

Remarks
Glowing trail that seemed to vaporize/disappear from where it was first seen to where it burned out. There were airplane lights in the night sky that seemed to be further away (higher in the sky) than the burning object I saw.
