Observer
NameKathy C
Experience Level1/5
RemarksI was under an arbor when I saw large, bright, nearly white, soundless, brief flash (seconds) tracking roughly southwest to northeast. Did not look like anything I’d ever seen. I was expecting a boom as if it were fireworks, but it was soundless. No whistle, no report or boom. Quiet night. I’ve seen meteor showers, but this was large. Had the sense of something near, yet due to silence, I could not judge. Military base not far away.
