Remarks | I made the observation while I was driving, and I was so taken with surprise, that my memory of exactly where my vehicle was located is not clear. I just have an approximate location. Also, because I was driving in a valley, my estimations of the distance above the horizon were difficult. It appeared near the horizon, just over the hills, but would have been further up in the sky compared to a true flat horizon. |
