My wife and I were watching TV. My wife first observed the event as a reflection in our car’s windscreen which is parked on the North facing drive of the property. We both witnessed the event as a bright yellow, rapidly moving yellow fireball moving in a north northwest direction at standing eye level. My observation lasted less than 4 seconds. A vivid smoke trail was observed. The bright yellow fireball disappeared abruptly well above the horizon .

Remarks
The trail was witnessed by both myself and wife- we both agree that it was a ‘smoke’ trail alone, with no distinct perceivable ‘glow’.
