Remarks | Was seen by my girlfriend as she was driving to work. She was hundreds of feet from the direct impact site. She was incredibly shaken by the loud boom and bright ball of light right next to her. She had a truck driver witness it as well. They both stopped in the road, stunned at what they just saw. The impact site is hwy 260 and Coury Drive between Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. No doubt this impact will be discoverable. No wooded area, just open field with some bushes scattered about. The entire Verde Valley (which includes Sedona) heard the boom and many saw the light. |
