This was the first time observing something this large. I do watch meteor showers at night when I have a chance, but this was way cooler. Hope to experience it again some day. I did have another person spot it at the same time in the same area as we were parking cars for an event.

The smoke trail reminded me of the afterburner of a jet in the sky. Starts out together and then dissipates into little sections.
