RemarksMy wife and I had just looked at and discussed the view of the moon and looked down for less than a minute when we looked up and saw what appeared to be a laser beam across the sky. Over the next 20 minutes it became clear that it was a mist trail from something that had crossed the horizon at a very high speed at very high elevation. We haven't seen or heard of any other reports yet the trail lasted for at least 40 minutes.
