RemarksThere was a distinct ball glowing brightly with a slightly less bright glowing trail. It looked like a shooting star, but much larger. I was driving and it appeared to come from just behind me to the right, then streaked across my view and disappeared in the sky a second later. It appeared (from my perspective) to be descending, though not at a steep angle. I regularly watch meteor showers, but I’d never seen anything like this and had to ask my son (17) if he saw it, too, just to be sure it was real (he did, but he called it a blue fireball, whereas I saw a greenish blue).
