Reports Report 1548d (Event 1548-2019)

This report has been linked to the following event: Event 1548-2019
Observer
NameColin M
Experience Level2/5
RemarksI have seen meteors or "shooting stars" in the sky before, but this was unusual and unlike those meteors that I have seen previously in its intensity and color. I for a moment suspected that it had been a firecracker in the distance but I heard no report. The area I live in is rural but very quiet and I neither heard nor saw anything else. This is strange, and probably unrelated, but there is a metallic smell in the air as well.
