RemarksThe meteor was low enough to be under cloud cover, but disappeared into a cloud then emerged from the other side. Within one minute, 4 military helicopters were seen flying the same general course from east to west, so the occupants of the helicopters must have observed it as well. It was bright, then appeared to burn out as it approached the western part of the sky. Did not reach the horizon.
