RemarksImmediately thought it was a fireball -- like have seen on YouTube videos of the one in Russia. Thought it must be meteor from meteor shower happening now.

RemarksSee note describing color of fireball for details about smoke trail. Also, The train grew from 15-25 degrees to 30-40 over time (wind seemed to disperse it, elongating it and making it wider and less sharply defined at edges.
