Terminal flash
ObservationYes
RemarksThere was low cloud cover, and I saw a bright flash in the sky which I thought to be lightning, but there were no storms or precipitation anywhere in the area for over 200 miles. The flash lasted a bit longer than a second. Therefore, I was not able to see any trajectory of the fireball. Also, the flash was pretty high up in the sky.
