RemarksWas with a group of my church family leaving after choir practice, we all saw the “shooting star,” except this streaked long and low relative to the horizon due south. Strong gold color, decent trail, I observed a dip in its trajectory, as if it stumbled down toward earth a bit then smoothed out. Winked out just after. Not entirely sure it was a fireball, but didn’t fit in the shooting star category either.
