very bright ,driving and unmistakeable lasted long enough to point it out to my daughter who saw it too. No radio but didn't hear anything.

glowing light disappeared over horizon which is high as mtns and i was in a valley, almost immediately it disappeared and saw red and orange flashes with smoke or light reflected off clouds.
