ObservationUnknown
Remarks-
Delayed Sound
ObservationYes
Remarks5 to 8 seconds after light burned out, I heard a low rumble thru the ground, similar to thunder far away. I don't think it was from the U.P.S. Jets that I some times hear after midnight. The sky was very clear and I did not see any jets.
Persistent train
ObservationYes
Duration2s
Length10°
RemarksFire ball was brightest overhead and then quickly burned out splitting a burning piece off towards the South East and then, no more light could be seen any where in the sky. Train degree may not be correct.
Terminal flash
ObservationYes
RemarksI was facing my lap top screen when the blinding flash of light over exposed everything in the room. Large windows in the room with no blinds closed.
Fragmentation
ObservationYes
RemarksI was inside 3 feet from a large 5' by 5' foot bay window and ran outside back door ( 4' feet away from where I was sitting) to see the dimming trail heading due North. Light Flash was so bright I thought it was the end of the world and a Nuclear Bomb had just detonated in the Southern Sky above my back yard.
