RemarksI was on a run with a friend when the ball of light entered our field of vision. It startled/perplexed us because it was much larger than any shooting star either of us had seen. We didn't hear sounds associated with it as it disappeared on the horizon line toward the inlet, but that isn't surprising, as we share the waterway with a very large and very active military base:-) The "sounds or freedom" would likely have masked any impact sounds. It was a very interesting experience!

RemarksSeemed like there was a smaller piece off in the distance that was visible within a second of seeing the first. Not sure if it was a fragmented piece or a separate event. Seemed like perhaps a piece of the first.
